The overall plot setting is tortuous but reasonable. The novel adopts two main lines, one bright and one dark. The bright line is the process of Dong Guoyu realizing "cultivating one's family, governing the country, and bringing peace to the world" in Ainlu and carrying forward the ancestral convenience house. The dark line is the emotional development between Dong Guoyu and various beauties. The biggest difference is that most of the harem heroines are deceived by threats of force or various temptations. Unlike other novels where the protagonist shakes his body and lets out his bastard spirit, there are countless beauties vying to throw themselves into his arms, which is unrealistic.
