The Daily Life of a Fox Spirit

There are two little fox spirits. The senior brother has lived on the mountain for a thousand years (the equivalent of 25 human years), while the junior brother wonders what life among humans is like. Since his senior brother once went down the mountain, he tells him amusing stories about the human world, filling the junior brother with longing for it. When the junior brother takes human form at the age of 500, appearing about 13 in human years, he begs his master to let him go down the mountain. Before he leaves, the master tells the senior brother to take good care of him, warning that people outside are hard to read. If anyone discovers they are demons, they will surely be killed.
