The everyday banter between a cold, aloof psychologist and a popular, philandering celebrity.
She said, “Are you sick?”
He said, “Yes, I'm sick. Why else would I pay you?”
She turned to leave. She wasn't treating him.
She said, “You're sick!”
He said, “I'm not sick!”
She said, “Then why did you come to see me?”
He said nothing. He just pulled her into his arms and kissed her by force!
He was cold, arrogant, and the womanizing horndog she hated most. She was his psychologist. He threw a fortune at her, so she couldn't refuse, and now she had to treat him around the clock, right by his side. What the hell, she'd walked straight into the wolf's den!
“Do you dare?” the philandering star challenged her with a smirk.
She was a top psychologist. If she said he was sick, then he was sick, and sick people needed treatment!
This book is quite in-depth. It tells the love story of two people with character flaws caused by childhood loss. It is mixed with some social realities and human desire for warmth. To quote the words from "Disqualification in the World", it is "I am sorry to be born as a human being." It fully demonstrates the other dark side of human nature and can arouse readers' deep thoughts. Overall, it is very touching.
I may not like it, but I want to give it a try. Maybe this is actually a good book, but I didn't find it.
The subject matter is good, but I wanted to leave halfway through the plot. I finally finished it and the ending is good. Come on
