The land is engulfed in war, with kingdoms rising one after another. She was destined to become empress, but on her wedding day, to save her country, her father, and her younger sister, she had no choice but to abandon the childhood sweetheart she loved. After fleeing her wedding, she deliberately went to the enemy kingdom as a spy, using her schemes to win the realm. By a twist of fate, a chance encounter made her the apple of the enemy emperor’s eye. One said, “I conquered this realm so I could protect you better.” The other said, “What meaning does this realm have without you?”
The ending makes perfect sense. . . .
It's pretty cool but there's still room for improvement. At first I felt that the male protagonist was based on Zhao Kuangyin, but then I didn't want to think about it anymore. The female protagonist's IQ sometimes goes up and down and is not very stable. The writing is relatively modern and it's good to watch it as an idol drama.
Not bad, very sweet,
