This audio novel is very well written, with rich and colorful content. It is a life growth experience. I see part of myself in Jiang Feng, but I am not as impulsive as Jiang Feng. Officialdom, both ancient and modern, is full of dangers and intrigues. Especially after society enters the market economy with private ownership, many people regard interests as very important. The two of them finally chose a small village to run a private school and lived a carefree life. The story has a perfect outcome. This is the outcome that many Chinese people like to hear.
