Li Yuchen is a poor college student who grew up deep in the mountains.
After his girlfriend’s mother tears them apart, a twist of fate awakens the Sacred Dragon bloodline within him. He also inherits the medical and physiognomy arts created by his Li ancestors, becoming a young man in the city with astonishing medical and divination skills.
Thanks to his medical expertise, Li Yuchen is later chosen by the Hidden Healer Alliance as a candidate for its young lord. To compete against the other candidates, he begins building his own network of power. Along the way, he forges close partnerships with forces such as Qin Palace, Shanghai International, and the Baishi Group, earning the capital he needs to advance his own ambitions.
After becoming young lord of the Hidden Healer Alliance, the responsibility of revitalizing China’s ancient medicine falls on Li Yuchen’s shoulders.
To achieve this lofty goal, Li Yuchen first faces hostility from several ancient medical families. Then Western medicine turns against him, and eventually he finds himself beset by the combined forces of the international medical establishment.
The battle between China’s ancient medicine and international Western medicine gradually reveals the forces behind the scenes. As Li Yuchen grows stronger, he begins confronting the masterminds behind Western medicine and the dark forces of the West directly, transforming a medical rivalry into a clash between cultivation forces.
