The Martial World

The Bai clan rules the Great Qian Dynasty as emperors, while the Xiao clan holds the title of king. The Xiao clan rules Beiliang, standing alone against Qianxue to defend the nation's gates. But Bai Xuan of the Bai clan is ambitious and intent on reclaiming Beiliang. Just as he was reaching the height of his fame, Bai Xuan plotted against him, and he died a tragic death. The struggle between the Xiao and Bai clans has reached its peak. There can be no peace until one side is dead. Court intrigue, the balance of power, armies trampling the martial world. Love? Friendship? Family? Which path should we take?

That day, I fought beneath the city walls while you watched from above. That day, my long sword was broken, my white robes stained with blood. When I looked back, the peach blossoms on the mountaintop were still in bloom. The horses whinnied, the halberds stood unmatched, and my battle robes were soaked in blood. I gazed at the moon, and your smile was like a flower.

In those years, you watched from the city walls while I fought below. In those years, I played the zither among the flowers as you danced with your sword, white robes fluttering. That fleeting warmth was enough to drown out the thunder of a thousand horses' hooves. Corpses covered the ground, blood flowed like a river, and endless yellow sand buried the remains of my white robes.
