Ferryman of the Dead

One night, a mysterious man with a deathly pale face showed up at our house. The next day, Mom vanished along with him. I searched the whole house and found only a letter she had left me. I couldn't bring myself to believe what it said: Mom told me I'd died seventeen years ago, and warned me never to let those things catch me. If I wanted to keep living as a dead person, I had to find my unreliable great-uncle. And so my unreliable great-uncle and I set off on an equally unreliable journey.

A mysterious sea of blood, an eerie underground passage beneath the Kunlun Mountains, the legendary state of Youqiong where Hou Yi once ruled, and a terrifying Skeleton King in a sea of corpses. What secrets are recorded on the Qin bamboo slips my father left behind? I have to keep living as a dead person. If I don't want them to catch me, I can only keep moving forward. And in the end, what fate awaits me, a member of the undead?
