That Huge Bai Suzhen

A thrilling, twist-filled plot! Spectacular battles! A blockbuster worthy of Hollywood! A production backed by a million-dollar budget! An all-star cast! My book... has none of that... Here, eggplants, potatoes, and green peppers cultivate themselves into spirits and call themselves the "Three Immortals of the Earth." Bai Suzhen takes one look and gets hungry. She waves a hand, and a cleaver, chopping board, and stove appear before her. Scallions, ginger, garlic, a wok, and a spatula come floating through the air... The "Three Immortals of the Earth" cry out, "Run for your lives! The cook is here!" There are all kinds of spirits here: turtle spirits, chicken spirits, and other spirits that serve the kitchen. There's even dish soap spirit, which is particularly wasteful with water. But spirits aren't scary. People are! There are abandoned souls overflowing with negativity and despair; handsome young masters from wealthy families who think they're better than everyone; rich landlords who look down on the poor; and lecherous flower-picking rogues who won't even spare men! Xu Xian is a doctor. After practicing medicine for years, he finally realizes that this world may be short on everything, but it sure as hell isn't short on "patients"! This book has: Wild imagination! Fantasy cultivation! Bai Suzhen hitting on Xu Xiaoxian! Good looks, doting affection, fun, and... I can't think of any more. Read it yourself.
