I was born in a yin year, yin month, and yin hour. The left palm bears the markings of yin and yang, and the right the markings of the Five Thunders. I'm no ordinary person. After my parents died, I lived for a while with an old woman called Han Gu, learning all sorts of yin-yang and Five Elements arts. I never went to school for even a single day. When I was twelve, I was inexplicably taken to live with my grandmother, whose identity was shrouded in mystery, and began my life in the big city. In just a few years, I completed the entire curriculum from elementary school through high school. During my first year at university, I never imagined I would encounter such bizarre and inexplicable events.
