Corpse Pouch Man

A corpse, lacking vitality, returns to oneness; yellow earth is the final destination of the dead.

A corpse pouch bears a hundred thoughts and bridges yin and yang; the mortal world is but a fleeting dream.

Ten years ago, I was assigned to an oil-drilling platform in the South China Sea. After a mishap during operations, I hauled a beautiful female corpse out of the oilfield. Strange things began happening one after another: coworkers died, footsteps sounded in the dead of night, and people's hearts went missing. In the end, I sought help from an expert and finally broke this deadly curse. Later, thanks to my exceptional aptitude, I became a corpse-pouch keeper, stationed in Sanmen Town to protect the peace and keep the mortal world safe.

A dream of falling fireworks, a tale of eerie happenings in the human world. I walk between yin and yang, carrying out the forbidden work of the dead, helping villagers, doing good deeds, and vanquishing evil spirits.
