Fighting for the Household: The Poisonous Legitimate Daughter

A modern-day assassin known as the Jade-Faced Fox was killed after being betrayed by the person she trusted most during a mission. She never expected to transmigrate into the body of Shen Yu, the deceased third young lady of the Shen family. After receiving the original Shen Yu's payment, her body, and all her memories, the Jade-Faced Fox agreed to avenge her employer, the third young lady of the Shen family. She would live in the Shen household as Shen Yu and avenge the deaths of Shen Yu's parents. And so the assassin became Shen Yu and began her life of household intrigue in the Shen family. Fortunately, she retained all of her memories and knew who had killed the three members of the Shen family. The real challenge was that, although everyone knew the second branch of the Shen family had died tragically and unjustly, no one was willing to stand up for them and seek revenge, all for the sake of keeping the Shen clan united. Shen Yu had to find a way to protect herself and survive in the Shen household, safeguard the second branch's property, and deal with the first branch, which was bent on scheming against her, as well as the biased Old Madam Shen. But what was household intrigue to an assassin? Bring it on, ladies. I'm not afraid of you one bit. Shen Yu never expected to be swayed by someone else's advances, either. The appearance of Fifth Prince Zhan Yunzhao helped her greatly, but also drew her into another struggle.
