The Wandering Soul Lantern

My name is Ma Kun. I was born in 1985 in a small village called Longquan in Xintai, Shandong Province. Many villages in Xintai are surrounded by high mountains and dense forests, with winding roads and a relatively insular way of life. Like many other villages, Longquan is tucked into a mountain hollow.

There is a temple at the western end of Longquan. It was once bustling with worshippers, but for some unknown reason, people eventually stopped burning incense at the Dragon King Temple, and it gradually fell into ruin.
