She was a top-class modern-day assassin codenamed 07, but transmigrated into the body of the ugly Sixth Princess Consort of the Southern Kingdom, a woman who had lost her virginity before marriage. Clever and capable, with swift, deadly skills, she was a match for no one. Schemes and plots were child’s play to her. On the battlefield, she made a name for herself in the army. Taking an enemy commander’s head amid thousands of troops was as easy as reaching into a bag, earning her a fearsome reputation.
He was Yan Qingchen, the Sixth Prince of the Southern Kingdom. Proud, aloof, cold, and lazy, he cared about nothing. Yet whenever she found herself in trouble, he stayed by her side, giving her hope in her darkest moments and saving her from death again and again, without a single regret.
He was Bei Mojing, the heir of the Northern Kingdom. Deeply devoted, domineering, forceful, and cold, he repeatedly showed her a tender side. Whenever she was betrayed or hurt, he was always there to protect her. But when he himself faced crushing setbacks and pressure, he pushed her away and bore it all alone.
Caught between two men who loved her with all their hearts, what would she choose? In a world torn apart by war, one conspiracy follows another. Amid the raging tides of a struggle for power, who will truly rule the world?
The constant contradiction between thought and reality may be due to human weakness and nature, especially the disconnection between love and hatred. Human nature is deeply portrayed in the novel. In reality, it is really unclear who is right and who is wrong. Life is precious, but love is even more valuable. For the sake of freedom, both can be thrown away.
So far, there are too few emotional lines between the male and female protagonists, but I personally still like the overall plot!
Well, the ending was okay
Looks good, keep watching
The beginning is okay, but the ending seems less than ideal. All in all, it's a very well written novel.
