Humanity’s wanton slaughter of animals has driven every beast under heaven to revolt. Some demons have joined forces to form the Demon Realm, vowing to wipe out humanity. Thus begins an unprecedented war between humans and beasts, between immortals and demons. He is the savior born in response to Heaven’s call. His mission is to save humanity, the Three Realms, and the gods and Buddhas. He is a god! The gods and Buddhas lie beneath his feet, as do all things under Heaven! He is Ling Yuxiao, of the Proud People! As a god, he will be the god among gods; as an immortal, he will be free and unfettered. As a person, he will be proud; as a ghost, he will be the king of ghosts. The Proud People’s ideals are freedom, equality, self-respect, self-love, and happiness. They will never bow and scrape! This is how one ought to live: proudly!
