The Last Exorcist Taoist

[More authentic than Agents of the Yin-Yang World, the work that marks the debut of Third Uncle’s direct disciple]

My grandfather was the last Taoist in the world able to communicate with the underworld. He caught ghosts and saved people, drove corpses and expelled parasites, and read the forces of feng shui. In his lifetime, he dealt with countless supernatural troubles, yet even he couldn’t break the family’s thousand-year curse. I don’t possess his great powers, so I can only feel my way forward, step by step, break the curse, and stay alive, hoping to live like an ordinary person...

Thank you, my master Third Uncle, for your guidance: “The immortals are distant, beyond the realms of the mundane, and rarely seen. How fortunate to encounter a household that opens the way to enlightenment. When you come upon a ritual of fasting and prayer, do not turn it down. Those who commit sins while bearing the burden of their family do so day after day; blessings that mend the heart last only a short while. When the time comes, if you fail to remain mindful, how will you repay a lifetime of kindness?”, Dedicated to Third Uncle.
