The Concubine's Daughter, Master of Appraisal

This book is pretty good, don't be misled by the ratings. The early part where Ling Yue sneaks out of the house to make a fortune is quite exciting, but the ending feels a little rushed, the holes that need to be buried are filled in and the emotional line is a little thin, but overall it's good.

I really enjoyed reading this book, but I didn't understand it. When a house is raided, doesn't it mean that troops are sent to surround the mansion? Before being convicted and sentenced, the surrounding officers and soldiers will not evacuate. This book is novel. After the house is ransacked, you can leave the house at will. Doesn't that mean you can escape at will?

The book is very good, why is it given so few evaluation points?
