The Lost Truth

This is the first time I have seen a profiler in a novel, and it is also the first time I have heard of the professional title of profiler. I don't know whether it is fictional or a real profession.

The plot is not bad, but the character description and language feel too hasty, the characters feel "too" prominent, and some parts are a bit abrupt and need to be improved, come on!

I'll give it four and a half stars. The story is quite exciting. That's why this kind of mystery novel must have a big boss at the end? If this book was about the protagonist coming back to take over the backlog of the case team leader and then deal with it one case at a time, one story after another, wouldn't this be better and more realistic? Of course it's just a personal opinion!

The subject of profilers does not appear much in China. The Zhang Yunqing portrayed in this book is still lifelike, and the new image of the police in the new era is also vividly and distinctively portrayed. Although the plot is a bit slow, some crime scenes are too bloody, and the appearance of some characters is a bit abrupt. But despite its flaws, it is indeed a masterpiece worth owning.

The author is really great and the plot is very interesting. I can't imagine how the plot structure came about, but I like it very much.

Let me talk about the shortcomings first. The ending is too hasty and has bugs. In the first picture, Yunqing's marksmanship is amazing. When Viper kills the doctor, he fires three shots, which is enough for Zhang Yunqing, a sharpshooter, to kill him with one shot. Secondly, Viper dies inexplicably, and his psychological defense collapses just because of a few words. You know Viper's experience, and if you are mentally strong enough, you will never commit suicide rashly. Generally speaking, the writing is good, the logic is relatively rigorous, and the details are in place, especially the psychological profiling and some foreshadowing. The design is very exquisite, and it is a very good novel.

It's really good-looking and understandable, but at first I thought Liu Zhenhua was a doctor and I didn't expect him to be a magician. . . Viper died a little bald, and I didn't expect that the magazine writer Fu Xuexue was foreshadowing the entire process.

The rhythm is tight, meticulous and fascinating. The story logic is clear and the plot design is reasonable. It is a rare and excellent criminal investigation work!

The first time I learned about profilers was from watching the American TV series "Criminal Minds". It's rare to see a work with this type of character in China. I like it very much. The plot is very compact and the emotional line is great. It doesn't focus on the love of the male protagonist, but it can be well interspersed in the text.

The writing is so realistic, this is real detectives, criminals, and real life!
