The Evil Prince’s Beloved Physician

She is Lian Jue, the divine physician of the Serene Valley, with the power to bring the dead back to life. He is the emperor's favored son, a prince who has been plagued by illness since childhood. It is only natural for a physician to treat the sick, and so the two of them meet and become entangled. Intrigued by her coldness, he is willing to cherish her for a lifetime in exchange for a single smile. Moved by his suffering, she is willing to give everything for his lifelong health. When someone tries to frame her, he holds her close and says, "Whoever wants to hurt you, your husband will wipe them all out." He has the power to do it.

What is love? It is trusting and standing up for each other unconditionally, while always spoiling one another. A servant rushes in with a report: "Disaster, Your Highness! The Princess Consort has taken Consort Shu's parrot for an experiment." The prince replies, "It's fine. As long as she doesn't kill it, let the Princess Consort have her fun." The Princess Consort says, "My lord, you're so handsome. Shall we be husband and wife again in our next lives?" The prince is delighted. His consort is confessing her love! "Of course." The Princess Consort says, "Then it's settled. In our next life, I'll be the husband and you'll be the wife." The prince is speechless. His own consort has played him for a fool.
