The Peerless School Beauty’s Bodyguard

A legendary soldier retires to the city, living in a basement and earning his keep hauling bricks at construction sites. By chance, Qin Jie, the former king of soldiers, saves Xia Yin, a beautiful campus belle, from a gang of thugs and becomes her personal bodyguard. Returning to campus, he experiences the reckless youth he once missed out on and begins a journey from humble beginnings to legend. There is his goofy deskmate, his naive but ambitious roommate, the heir to the Overlord of Chu, who becomes his sworn brother, and the drinking companion who can down a thousand cups, who turns out to be a fearsome underworld boss. Through a storm of bullets, brothers stand together; for the sake of a beauty, their fury knows no bounds.
