Zhang Hua lost both his parents when he was young. Through his own hard work, he earned outstanding grades at the police academy, but after a heartbreak, he lost all hope in society. By a twist of fate, he ended up at a crematorium. A jade stone left behind by his grandfather showed him a world unlike anything he'd known: anguished cries in the dead of night, a bizarre deserted village, wails from inside the cremation furnace, a midnight ringing, strange tapping sounds in the ventilation ducts... With one eerie scene after another, the question remains: are ghosts more frightening, or people? Stay tuned for Tales from the Crematorium.

It's very well written, but I don't have much hope for a second part.
