A hundred years ago, the great figures emerged and the stars shone bright. The world was swept up in an era of upheaval.
A hundred years later, a great calamity engulfs heaven and earth, and the gods have fallen. How many people in this world can still hope to survive?
A hundred years ago was the age of Li Daozi, Qu Yang, and Luo Shiba. A hundred years later, Zuo Daoyi has appeared. Who in the world can stand against him? Yet the century between those two eras was one of earth-shaking change. What people lived through it, and what stirring, tragic tales did they enact?
I am not writing a biography of Chen Erdan, but the story of an age and the grandmasters who lived through it.
Miaojiang witchcraft and curses, a nine-tailed white fox, spirit-walking and body evasion, reincarnation and cultivation anew, battles fought across ten thousand miles, the dragon python of Huangshan, a procession of a hundred ghosts... Hei Shou Shuang Cheng and his seven companions will tell you, in their own words, how Old Demon Chen came to be!
It feels like Little Buddha has really played a big game of chess, and all five books can be connected and intertwined with each other. It feels super nice. I think it should be based on the book Strange People of the Republic of China, Taoist Priests of the Miao Border, Gu Stories of the Miao Border, Notes on Catching the Gu, and Gu Stories of the Miao Border 2. It will be clearer if you follow this order.
This is the second time I have read this book. I have read all of Little Buddha's books. The logic is rigorous and the plot is wonderful. The characters in it appear in all the books. The protagonist in each book becomes a supporting role in another book. The perspective changes. It is very interesting to read.
I have read the author's "Miao Xian Gu Shi" a long time ago. I think it is a novel that can be compared with "Ghost Blowing the Lamp" and "Tomb Robbers Notes". It is really good to read. The story is fascinating and logical, and it is definitely incomparable to those time-travel novels. I have read "Miao Jiang Gu Shi" 1 and 2 three times, and now I have the opportunity to read several other works of the author. I am so happy. Thank you to the author for bringing us such wonderful stories.
Everything else is okay, I just feel like it would be interesting if the ending could be continued...
As always, I support and look forward to Little Buddha's new works, from Miao Gu stories to Catching Gu stories, Strange people of the Republic of China, Miao Dao stories... If I could, I would give ten stars!!!
Support Little Buddha, the plot is very exciting
Even if the hero's bones are fragrant even if he dies, he will not be ashamed to be the best in the world!
Brilliant, with twists and turns.
After reading it, I kind of want to watch Gu Shi 1 again. Doesn't this series have the ending of Little Buddha?
The content is exciting, the story line is clear, and the writing is very good. This is the second time I have read it.
