Love Through Wind and Rain

After the third Mount Hua Sword Debate, Yang Guo, the Divine Condor Hero, retires to seclusion with Xiaolongnü. Guo Xiang, longing for Yang Guo, ventures into the martial world alone. She searches for him from south to north, from east to west, but never finds him.

While searching for Yang Guo, Guo Xiang sees several monks doing evil and steps in to defend the innocent. Misled by the monks, she goes to Shaolin to demand an explanation. There she happens to meet the Three Saints of Kunlun and befriends Jueyuan and Zhang Junbao. Chan Master Wuse explains what happened, and Guo Xiang learns that the culprits were members of the Vajra School, founded by the Shaolin traitor Huogong Toutuo. Since the Vajra School has now joined the Mongols, Shaolin cannot deal with its former disciples. Meanwhile, Grandmaster Jueyuan dies after protecting Guo Xiang and Zhang Junbao. Guo Xiang therefore agrees to join Zhang Junbao in dealing with the traitors, setting a whole series of events in motion.
