My Thousand-Year-Old Zombie Wife

That year, Ma Yiming was diagnosed with cancer. He chose a nearby mass grave as an auspicious place to be buried. There, he found a drought demon that had not decayed in a thousand years. He didn't know what it was. He only knew she was an astonishingly beautiful woman. In a daze, Ma Yiming was led into a coffin, where he had a long, strange dream. The woman in it was the very drought demon who had remained uncorrupted for a thousand years. They got married in the dream, held their wedding ceremony, and someone even forced a cold heart into his chest... When he awoke, thunder and lightning answered his call, and somehow he became a Yang Constable, guiding the souls of the dead to the Yellow Springs. Ma Yiming said, "I slay ghosts, demons, and evil spirits, not for all humanity, but so I can meet her along the way."
