She is a princess of the Sui Dynasty. She has a prominent status, but she hides her name. She changes her appearance and enters the prefect's mansion as a maid. There, she meets Wu Meixue, a dancer who looks exactly like her under the mask. Is it a coincidence, or is there another secret? When she stabbed the prefect Li Yuan with a knife in front of all the guests, but failed and was rounded up, by some strange combination of circumstances, she was able to use Wu Meixue's identity to stay in the prefect's mansion and wait for an opportunity to assassinate her. He is the second son of the Li family, handsome and resourceful. He is dedicated to hunting down the assassin, but he doesn't realize that the assassin is always by his side. In the end, it was no longer clear whether they loved each other more or calculated more. The only thing that was certain was that he always remembered the vows he had made! "I, Li Shimin, am willing to protect Yang Yunyi for the rest of her life. No matter she is a princess or a daughter of a subjugated country, I will never break this oath!"

I like the love story between Li Shimin and Concubine Yang!
Looks good and feels more real
I finally finished watching it again. It wasn't finished when I watched it a few years ago. I finished it after the second time and I'm still unfinished...
I like Concubine Yang, but I don't like Li Shishi's words about his daughter's long love.
It's very good. The plot is well designed and the characters are wonderfully drawn. It's a good book.
I read it a few years ago, and now I'm reading it again. Jie Yu's book never disappoints.
