Lord of the Mortal World

Before I was born, the world was trapped in a long night. Ignorant rulers, backward institutions, primitive production: the flame of civilization dwindled day by day, while the common people struggled in misery. I came at the call of fate, crowned amid blood and fire, destined to command all living beings. I explore, I conquer, I create, seeking dignity and glory for mortals. The gods weave their lies high in the divine realm, while from my earthly throne, I raise reason's blade and sever the chains. This is my immortal epic: the tale of Tyr Saphis, lord of the mortal world.
