Journey to the West: I, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Emerge from Seclusion as a Saint!

Sun Kong transmigrates into Sun Wukong, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, pinned beneath Five Elements Mountain.

It is at that very moment that he finally understands:

The Journey to the West was a scheme all along!

Why was the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, who once wreaked Havoc in Heaven, fought his way up to the thirty-third heaven, and refused to bow to anyone, so meek five hundred years later, begging everyone for help and even losing to nameless little demons?

Those five hundred years beneath Five Elements Mountain:

Iron pellets and molten copper ruined his foundations! Wind and rain wore away his cultivation!

They wanted to turn the monkey into a watchdog completely under Buddhism's control!

Luckily, he awakens the Stay-In-the-Mountain System!

"Ding! For not leaving the mountain on day one, you've received a reward: a century-old immortal apricot."

"Ding! For not leaving the mountain on day ten, you've received a reward: a thousand-year-old Peaches of Immortality."

And so, five hundred years later, when the immortals and Buddhas try to set the tribulation in motion and force the monkey out of the mountain...

Sun Kong carries Five Elements Mountain on his back, his aura terrifying and his gaze indifferent.

"I am the Great Sage Equal to Heaven! I will never leave this mountain!"
