My Martial World

What is the jianghu? People are the jianghu. What is the jianghu? Grudges and grievances are the jianghu. The jianghu is beautiful: alone on a street at midnight, you swing the sword engraved with your name, as carefree as the wind. The jianghu is also cruel: you watch your friends, teachers, and beloved bleed upon the battlefield, and for revenge, you can only face a wall in meditation for ten years. This is the jianghu. In the jianghu, you can join swords with your beloved and perform a duet that makes you laugh proudly at the world. You can also rely on your extraordinary intelligence to seek out legendary secret manuals and master peerless martial arts. Or you can establish a sect and take on disciples, becoming a revered grandmaster. You could even forge your own sword, kill a man every ten steps and leave no trace after a thousand miles, becoming a legendary lone swordsman.
