The Miraculous Healer

As a plague swept across the land, the young Zhang Xiaoman had no choice but to leave home and seek refuge. After enduring countless hardships and dangers, he became a disciple of Zhishan Daoist, the founding patriarch of the Daoist Qingyi School of Medicine. Zhishan Daoist and the others taught him mystical arts and medicine. He cultivated the Dao, then inherited Zhishan's true teachings and received a precious gourd, as well as a strange magical vine. Later, he traveled the world, using the Five Elements, mystical arts, medicine, and the principles of yin and yang to see through the body's illnesses. He could even carry medicine into the body's orifices, traveling between the five organs and six viscera and through the extraordinary meridians to dispel diseases and evil spirits, rescuing people from dire straits. In the end, he foiled the Plague Demon's plot and sealed it beneath the Tower of All Spirits forever, bringing peace and clarity back to the world.
