It's very brain-consuming. Ultraman is actually not that complicated. When the director was filming Ultra Brothers, he didn't even think about the Kingdom of Light. He only added it later. When Tiga was working on it, he didn't think about the new generation at all. It was only after some other directors went over it that they added it. Ultraman just relied on it. It doesn't matter whether it makes sense or not. He just added it on.
