Traditional Arts Show: I Was Exposed After Sleeping for Ten Thousand Years

A global program dedicated to showcasing Chinese culture, Legacy, has begun airing.

After warming up with three episodes of Chinese-language challenges that drove a million foreigners crazy, the show attracts challengers from all over the world, eager to take on the quintessence of Chinese culture.

Soon, Chinese and foreign experts are locked in fierce contests in fields such as pottery, martial arts, and Go...

And all this happens to awaken Qi Jin, who has been sleeping at the show's filming location for ten thousand years.

Looking at the beautiful porcelain made by Chinese cultural ambassadors and foreign masters, Qi Jin laughs. "You call that pottery?"

Of course, he doesn't tell them that he once threw pots in a dragon kiln with Chen Ping'an in a small town.

He doesn't tell them that Huang Longshi and Dosaku both learned Go from him, either.

And he certainly doesn't mention how boundless and wondrous true Chinese martial arts were before spiritual energy dried up!
