God-Tier Director: Turning Down the Oscar from the Start

Zhang Ke transmigrated to a parallel world and awakened the God-Tier Director System.

Though he was a newcomer, the movie script provided by the System won him the Oscar for Best Director.

However, the film was maliciously misinterpreted and turned into a tool for smearing China.

That was one of the reasons he won the award.

Abroad, he was showered with praise. At home, he was condemned.

While Chinese people cursed Zhang Ke as a traitorous director, he stepped onto the stage to accept his award:

"I'm standing here today not to accept this award, but to refuse this little golden statuette and speak up for my country!"

From then on, Zhang Ke was blacklisted by the West and had no choice but to return to China to pursue his career.

His first film, Let the Bullets Fly, won him countless awards.

His second film, A Chinese Odyssey, was hailed as a landmark in Chinese romance films.

His third film...

Zhang Yimou: Zhang Ke is the one who deserves to be called the national director.
