Cultural Heritage: I Ushered in the Erhu Era!

Sun Hongwu, a master of the erhu, has his Spring Festival Gala performance replaced by several pretty young stars.

It's heartbreaking!

But traditional folk music has long since fallen out of favor, while pretty young stars have become the mainstream!

Unable to bear seeing his teacher so upset, Su Yi takes it upon himself to champion erhu culture.

And just then,

the Cultural Heritage System activates.

One viewer: "Why does his rendition of Lament in Illness make me want to cry?"

One pianist: "The erhu can play Flight of the Bumblebee? How the hell did he make it sound like a whole swarm of bees dancing?"

One guitarist: "Su Yi's erhu playing is totally on cheat mode. Whatever he plays sounds better than anything I can play!"
