The Missing

Teenage love is always so sudden and fierce, so stubborn and obsessive, like moths rushing into a flame without a second thought. The lucky ones emerge battered and bruised; the unlucky ones perish in the fire. Perhaps moths are foolish, but we don't know whether they are happy or sad. When they plunge into the flames and are swallowed up, surely they feel warm.
