Urban: Evolving from a Cicada Nymph

Night fell, and a cicada nymph crawled out of the earth.

But he felt no joy at all about breathing fresh air...

Because he had once been human, he knew all too well that the key to whether a cicada nymph could shed its shell and become a cicada lay in its first night above ground.

There's a flashlight over there?!

I'll hide! I'll hide again!!

There are ants here?! Then I'll devour a bunch first!!

Ding! Congratulations, Host, on your success! All stats +20. You have evolved into the "Cicada Monkey King"!

This is a story about a "monkey catcher" who eventually becomes a monkey, devouring and evolving along the way while having all sorts of "friendly interactions" with humans.

I'm not very good at writing blurbs, so please give it a try and read a few chapters. You can sample a little before deciding.

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to actual events or people is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
