Painted Like Clouds

Painting is beautiful like the clouds. Clouds are ever-changing, and so is painting. Clouds flow with the air; still as a maiden, swift as a hare. They can be a gentle breeze, kind as a Buddha's face, or roam the ocean, wild and weathered. They play among the Himalayas, their frosty feathers warmed by the sun; spring and autumn pass in a daze, while the Celestial Empire glows with golden light.

Painting is like clouds, beautiful enough to brighten the world. Let not the round moon shine on a guest asleep; let the garden be peaceful and serene. From ancient sages and immortal masters to famed cultivators, all they need is a spark of inspiration to call forth a thousand carefree wonders.
