Great Tang: What Happened to the Journey to the West World We Were Promised?

Li Chengqian transmigrates and becomes Li Chengqian, Crown Prince of the Great Tang.

After investing time and effort in a careful plan, he prepares to ascend the throne in peace, become the emperor of the Great Tang, conquer the world, divide its lands among his followers, and become a sage emperor for the ages.

But then...

"Ding-dong! Cultivation System bound!"

"Uh, this world has been identified as the Journey to the West world!"

"Sorry, Host. There are too many powerful figures here. Let's just..."

Li Chengqian: "..."

So this is the Journey to the West world!

Then why would I want a throne? Cultivating immortality sounds way better!

Years later, he sliced a certain island nation in two with his flying sword, yet still hadn't seen that kid Chen Guangrui pass the imperial examination.

So much for it being the Journey to the West world!
