Investiture of the Gods: I Wanted Nothing More Than to Die, but They Mistook Me for a Saint

Zi Shou transmigrated into the Investiture of the Gods world. Once he learned that being killed would let him reign supreme over the Primordial World, he began going all out to get himself killed.

Then... he discovered that this world was downright crazy!

Nuwa: "Since attaining sainthood, I believed my state of mind to be flawless. It was only when the Shang king risked his life to speak out, condemning me for standing by as the Demon Emperor slaughtered humanity, that I realized my state of mind was flawed!"

"From that moment on, I swore an oath to Heaven that I would protect the Shang king at all costs!"

Hongyun: "In my past life, countless people told me that missing out on sainthood was my fate. They said fate could not be defied, and that anyone who defied it would die! It was only when I met the Shang king that I heard him say he feared no fate, and would risk his life to show me what it meant to say that fate was nothing to fear!"

"I made up my mind then: in this life, I will follow the Shang king alone!"
