Journey to the West: From the Start, I Lifted the Seal on the Monkey

Wu Xuan transmigrated to the world of Journey to the West and became the leader of the Mortal Sect, which consisted of a small mountain and a Taoist temple.

After awakening the System, he could comprehend one of each disciple's divine abilities every time he recruited someone into the Mortal Sect.

And so...

Beneath Five Elements Mountain, Wu Xuan stood with his hands behind his back, looking at Sun Wukong pinned beneath it. With an otherworldly air, he said, "Sun Wukong, will you join my Mortal Sect? I'll help you take down the heavens!"

In a cave not far from Gao Village, a pig's snout was munching on a head of greens. A figure with a clear, bright presence appeared without a sound. "The Journey to the West calamity is about to begin. The immortals have withdrawn, and Buddhism and Taoism are flourishing. Yet they're sending you down to join the demon ranks, while the immortals divide the Heavenly Dao's merits among themselves. Are you willing to accept that?"

At Guanjiangkou, in a peach grove, True Lord Erlang was sipping wine beneath the peach blossoms, gazing into the distance. Just then, a voice rang out: "The Immortal Path is heartless, but my Mortal Sect has heart. Will you join my Mortal Sect? Beneath Mount Peach, there is still..."

The great calamity draws near:

Gods, demons, immortals, and monsters from across the heavens may all join my Mortal Sect.
