I Knocked Out the Monkey King with a Club and Took His Place!

Just after transmigrating,

Lin Su spots two gorillas, as powerful as King Kong, battling fiercely nearby, shaking the heavens and earth.

Lin Su is about to run, but then notices a dozen or so slightly smaller apes surrounding the battlefield.

"Ding! System activated. Newbie gift pack delivered!"

Lin Su is startled, then overjoyed, and hurriedly says,

"System? Open the gift pack!"

"Ding! Opened successfully. Obtained one inferior version of the Sea-Calming Needle."

Inferior version of the Sea-Calming Needle:

Has a one-in-ten-thousand chance of triggering an instant-kill effect. Newbie perk: guaranteed hit on the first try!

He looks at the staff that has suddenly appeared in his hand, then at the giant ape, already covered in wounds.

Lin Su steels himself and says,

"I'm going for it! It's victory or death!"
