Also titled: Survival Expedition: Choosing to Lie Flat from the Start, with a Teammate Who Is an Heir to the Celestial Masters' Taoist Tradition

Mu Jiuge transmigrates to a parallel world and learns that his predecessor signed up for a survival expedition show jointly produced by countries around the world, and has already secured a spot.

Just as Mu Jiuge is congratulating himself on having a powerful teammate and planning to cling to him and lie flat while being carried, he awakens the Lie Flat System.

While the other contestants go hungry, live in constant fear, and try every possible way to survive and explore the perilous lands, Mu Jiuge follows his teammate around as if on a sightseeing tour, eating, drinking, and sleeping, doing daily quests and leveling up however he likes.

Then one day, the Taoist teammate, who seems invincible to the audience, faces a terrifying crisis he cannot overcome and is about to meet his end. Mu Jiuge, whom viewers usually mock and curse, finally makes his move...
