Ding! Defy expectations and disrupt the plans of the Buddhas of Spirit Mountain. Delay your birth by five hundred years and receive the Pangu Overlord Physique.

Sun Wukong: I'm just not being born. Yep, just doing it for fun.

The gods and Buddhas of the myriad heavens are dumbfounded.

The Jade Emperor: What's going on? Why hasn't the monkey come to wreak Havoc in Heaven? I've been waiting so long, I'm practically wilting.

The gods: Your Majesty, the stone monkey has become a saint.

The Jade Emperor: ??

Jin Chanzi: A Wei is already dead. You picked him, idol. Do you know how I've spent this past millennium? A monster somewhere in the Flowing Sand River burped.

The gods and Buddhas: So we have to wait another five hundred years?

Damn it, as a lie-flat immortal, I absolutely won't put up with this unless you pay me more.

The monsters along the journey west: Why hasn't Tang Sanzang shown up yet?
