A Flame in the Snow

Li Xue had been working as a nurse at a hospital for two years since graduating. Her monotonous life was spent going between home and the hospital. Aside from work, she usually stayed in, and her days passed peacefully. But after a fire brought her into contact with Shen Qin, a fire department captain, his initial coldness toward her gradually gave way to attraction. During several rescue missions, he was drawn to Li Xue's strength and courage, and to the depth of her feelings for him.
