The enemy of technology is the natural disaster omnic, the natural enemy of magic is the undead natural disaster, and the natural enemy of interstellar civilization is the natural disaster insect. One day on an unmanned resource planet, a broken mechanical base, an ordinary earthling, a resource compound interest system and a universe riddled with holes. The undead are rotting, insects are devouring, and civilization is struggling to support itself. Once all civilizations are extinct, the universe will be almost destroyed.
