Reborn in the 1980s: Building the First Air Force Base

Ye Qiu was reborn in the 1980s as an Air Force colonel.

At the time, the Long Nation was weak in every respect, and its air force was weaker still.

"Anyone who offends our nation, no matter how far away, will be punished" had become an empty slogan, while the claim that our airspace was sacred and inviolable was nothing but self-deception.

In response, the Long Nation pooled the strength of the entire country to create a selection program called Guardians of the Nation: Eagles. Ye Qiu, with his wealth of flying experience from his previous life, became the program's head instructor.

No advanced fighter jets?

Tailless aerodynamic designs, canard configurations, vector engine blueprints... Ye Qiu had them all.

No excellent pilots?

Hellish fitness weeks, anti-nausea training on suspended ladders, multidimensional rotation testing devices, flight simulators with 90% realism. Ye Qiu had plenty of ways to train these rookies.

No advanced textbooks to guide them?

How about aircraft engine design, aerodynamics, aviation radar, and airborne weapons, all thirty years ahead of the rest of the world?
