Great Tang: I Mistook Li Er for My Father from the Start

Li Mu transmigrated to the Tang Dynasty ten years ago. His father had left to do business thirteen years ago, but ten days ago, a letter arrived saying he was coming home.

That year, a great drought gripped the land. Starving people were everywhere, and roving bandits ran rampant. Li Er was traveling incognito to see how the people were faring.

When Li Er was drawn to a waterwheel and knocked on the Li family's door, Li Mu thought his father had returned.

As soon as Li Er entered the main hall, he was stunned by a model of a wind-powered waterwheel.

After that, Li Er would ask Li Mu about affairs of state every few days.

But Li Mu couldn't find peace of mind. Why did he get promoted every time he answered?

Until one day, in the court, Li Er's voice rang out: "Good son, take a look. Do you know who I am?"
