From the Start, I Was Chosen to Pick a Consort, So I Turned the Empress into a Tyrant

After transmigrating to another world, Su Xing awakens to discover that he is a talentless good-for-nothing who cannot cultivate.

Luckily, he binds to a Posh Brat System. As long as he completes the absurd tasks it assigns, he receives rewards.

Just after Su Xing makes a name for himself as a notorious wastrel, the reigning Empress chooses him as her imperial husband.

Her reason is even stranger: This young man is handsome but has no ambition, so he would never try to seize my country.

After entering the palace, Su Xing's System keeps issuing tasks. Under his influence, the Empress does whatever he says.

"Tyrant! You built the Grand Canal at great cost to the people just so you could visit Yangzhou and admire the Qionghua flowers. Execute the imperial husband!"

"The Grand Canal links north and south, carrying grain from the south to the north. Rice prices have fallen several times over. What crime has he committed?"

"Tyrant! You sent fleets west in search of rare treasures, leaving the people in misery. Execute the imperial husband!"

"We have found high-yield crops like corn and sweet potatoes, so the people no longer go hungry. What crime has he committed?"

And so, the Empress strays farther and farther down the path of tyranny.
