I Don't Want to Miss Out Again

Life is a journey, and not everyone is headed to the same place. We have loved and been loved, let others down and been let down. Every beginning has its cause, and every ending its reason. Flowers bloom and fall in their own time; cherish those who come, and let go of those who leave.

When I was young, I met the woman I wanted to protect for the rest of my life. But reality, battered by material concerns, forced us to miss our chance. If only I could go back, I would give her a perfect answer.

You only realize what you've lost once it's gone, and when you finally get what you wanted, you don't cherish it. If you truly had another chance to start over, could you seize it, or would you relive that all-too-familiar scene? Not getting what you want isn't necessarily a regret.

You may not really know who she is.
