Journey to the West: The Heavenly Court's Sword-Wielder Beheads Sun Wukong from the Start

Xu Yi transmigrates into Journey to the West and becomes an ordinary jailer in the Heavenly Court.

He thought he would spend his whole life idling away in the great prison, amounting to nothing.

Unexpectedly, he awakens a Demon-Slaying System. By slaying demons and evil spirits, he can earn all kinds of rewards.

So he slays demons and banishes evil spirits in the Heavenly Court's great prison, growing stronger without end.

A hundred years later.

The rebellious monkey Sun Wukong is captured and brought to the Demon-Slaying Terrace. He is struck with blades and axes, burned by fire, and drowned in water, but not even a hair on him is harmed.

The assembled immortals and gods are at their wits' end.

Xu Yi, the great prison's sword-bearer, steps forward and draws his Wisdom Sword, beheading him with one strike!

Under the astonished gaze of the gods and Buddhas filling the sky, the monkey's head hits the ground!

Ding! Sun Wukong's head has been severed.
