The Suona Demon King of Back to Field

Ying Shi is a student recommended for university admission who lives in a hidden utopia and plays the suona. He's part of every wedding and funeral, and he doesn't want the guests from the show Searching for Yearning to find him.

He plays a tune to amuse the monkeys, then has a fateful encounter with a bride amid a procession of ten thousand ghosts on a moonlit night.

The viewers watching the livestream go wild:

"Of all the instruments, the suona reigns supreme. It sends you to heaven or leads you to the altar. When the music ends, the crowd disperses, and when people leave, the tea grows cold. Once the suona sounds, ten thousand people pay their respects. It accompanies your birth, seals your marriage, claims your afterlife, and stays with you for all eternity. Salute the suona, revered by all!"

"Good grief, listening to this tune in the daytime makes you want to punch someone, and listening to it at night makes you want to dig up a grave!"

"When I'm buried, this is what I want playing at my funeral. No, wait, it's my phone alarm too. Live in glory, die in peace. One resurrection isn't enough fun, so rise from the grave again and again until you reach heaven!!!"
